Calls to 000 (Triple Zero) are free with priority access on every Crazytel service. On the new SIP Trunk network, 000 calls bypass every account check, including a disabled trunk, a negative balance, or a spend limit. A VoIP phone needs power and internet, so if your power or internet is down it cannot call 000. Always use a mobile phone to call 000 if you can.

Calls to 000 (Triple Zero) are free on every Crazytel service and receive priority access, exactly as Australia's emergency call rules require.

## 000 calls bypass account checks on the new SIP Trunk network

On Crazytel's new SIP Trunk network, a call to 000 bypasses every check in the platform. A Triple Zero call will still connect even if:

- Your SIP trunk is disabled
- Your account balance is negative
- Your account has hit a spend limit or restriction of any kind

This is built into the core routing layer itself, not bolted on afterwards. There is no configuration, billing state, or account setting anywhere in the platform that can get in the way of an emergency call, and no setup is needed on your side.

## The VoIP limitation: power and internet outages

Like any VoIP service, a Crazytel phone service needs power and a working internet connection to make calls. If your power or internet is down, your VoIP phone cannot call anyone, including 000. This is the honest limitation of any VoIP service.

## Our advice: use a mobile phone to call 000

If you can, always use a mobile phone to call 000. A mobile will connect to any available network, even without credit, and even without a SIM in some cases. It is the most reliable way to reach emergency services.
