# What OS or hardware do I need to run Crazyphone?

What operating system does Crazyphone require? How much RAM? Do I need any special hardware?

## OS REQUIREMENTS

The Crazyphone application is supported by the following operating systems:

 * Android OS (7.0 or later)
 * iOS (iOS 15.0 or later)
 * Windows (Windows 7 and up)
 * MacOS (Mojave and onwards)

 

Windows and MacOS Crazyphone work with SIP Trunks, Hybrid SIP Trunks, and CrazyPBX extensions - sign in with the Open Setup Link under the QR code.


## CRAZYPHONE HARDWARE LIMITATIONS

For Windows and MacOS installs, the installed size of Crazytel is < 650 MB. Crazytel recommends a minimum of 1GB of hard drive storage space before installation.

Crazyphone uses ~ 150MB of RAM at idle. All modern computers capable of running Windows 7 or macOS Sierra onwards will have enough RAM to run Crazyphone.
