Cloud business voicemail from **$1.00/month per active mailbox** (AUD inc GST). When a caller hangs up during your voicemail greeting (or leaves an empty recording under 1 second), Premium Voicemail can automatically send them an SMS you have written - from your own Australian mobile number (`04...`) on your CrazyTel account. Also includes reusable SMS templates with dynamic placeholders, custom greetings, free email alerts with audio attachments, a live web inbox, secure playback links, webhook automation, optional owner SMS alerts, and optional AI voicemail transcription.

## Key Highlights

- **Instant Text-Back**: Callers who hang up before leaving a message (or leave an empty recording under 1 second) automatically receive your SMS.
- **Reusable SMS Templates**: Write a message once in `Premium Features -> Voicemail -> SMS Templates` (up to 1,000 characters) and reuse it across every mailbox.
- **Sent From Your Mobile Number**: The SMS comes from an Australian mobile number (`04...`) on your account, so callers can reply straight to you.
- **5-Minute Cool-Down & Smart Filtering**: Only Australian mobile callers (`04` / `+614`) are texted. Landlines, international callers, and withheld/private numbers are skipped and never charged. Repeat callers are texted at most once every 5 minutes.
- **Email Alerts Included**: Receive instant email notifications with caller details and optional MP3/WAV audio attachments to multiple recipients and BCC addresses.
- **Optional AI Transcription**: Convert voice messages into readable text in email and SMS notifications at **$0.10 per minute**.
- **Optional Owner SMS Alerts**: Send instant SMS alerts to your team with caller ID and transcript summary at **$0.05 per SMS segment**.
- **Live Inbox & Webhooks**: Manage messages in the MyAccount portal or push voicemail events to your CRM/helpdesk via signed HTTPS webhooks.

## How Missed-Call Auto-SMS Works (4 Simple Steps)

1. **Create an SMS template**: In MyAccount go to `Premium Features -> Voicemail -> SMS Templates` and select **New template**. Give it a name (1-128 characters) and write your message (up to 1,000 characters).
2. **Personalise with placeholders (optional)**: Tap a placeholder chip to drop it into your message. Each one is filled in automatically for every call.
3. **Turn on Auto-SMS for a mailbox**: Edit a mailbox under `Premium Features -> Voicemail -> Mailboxes`, open **Alerts & Notifications**, switch on **Auto-SMS Caller on Missed Call**, then choose your template and the Australian mobile number (`04...`) to send from.
4. **Save - that's it**: From now on, missed callers to that mailbox are texted automatically.

## SMS Template Placeholders

| Placeholder | Replaced with |
|-------------|---------------|
| `{voicemail_name}` | The name of the voicemail mailbox that was called |
| `{destination_did}` | The number the caller dialled |
| `{caller_id}` | The caller's phone number |
| `{caller_name}` | The caller's name, when available |
| `{occurred_at}` | The date and time of the missed call |

**Example template:**
> Hi, thanks for calling {voicemail_name} on {destination_did}. Sorry we missed your call - we will call you back shortly.
