WCAG 2.2 Level AA Conformance Statement
Crazytel is committed to making our primary marketing website accessible to people with disabilities. We conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for all Crazytel-owned pages on crazytel.com.au, except where noted below.
Conformance status
WCAG 2.2 Level AA — conforms within the stated scope. Crazytel-authored public pages and shared templates meet the code-addressable WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria reviewed in our remediation pass. Third-party shop and chat widgets are excluded (see Scope). Assistive-technology smoke testing is recommended as part of ongoing monitoring.
Scope
In scope: Primary marketing routes, shared navigation and footer, global CSS/JS, legacy public routes still linked from the site (including NBN pages, hosted PBX variants, Microsoft Teams, and Starlink Phone landing pages).
Out of scope for this statement: The WooCommerce online shop at /shop/ (third-party theme and plugins), and third-party chat widgets (LiveChat and custom chat launcher) which are not Crazytel-authored code.
Measures taken
- Skip navigation link and
mainlandmark on in-scope pages - Visible keyboard focus indicators site-wide
- Keyboard-accessible primary navigation (desktop disclosure buttons and mobile menu)
- Meaningful alternative text and link labels for branding, social, and product imagery
- Decorative background and icon imagery hidden from assistive technologies where appropriate
- Improved colour contrast for footer, hero, and product-page UI borders (text and non-text)
- Enhanced focus indicators with scroll padding so focus is not obscured by the site header
- Form labels, error identification, and ARIA on signup modals
- Carousel pause controls and
prefers-reduced-motionsupport - Single
h1per page and corrected heading hierarchy on remediated templates
Known limitations
- Shop: WooCommerce checkout and product pages require a separate accessibility review.
- Chat widgets: Floating chat launchers may obscure focused elements; configuration is managed in vendor dashboards.

Crazytel proudly supports the AMTA Mobile Phone Industry Good Practice Guide: Accessibility for People with Disabilities. This guide offers insight and direction to the telecommunications sector on how to make its products and services more accessible to Australian consumers living with a disability.
In line with the Accessible Telecommunications initiative, the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network presented Australia's first standalone resource dedicated to telecommunication products tailored for individuals with disabilities. Accessible Telecoms stands as a country-wide disability telecommunications service, delivering unbiased, current data on both mainstream and specialized telecommunication products suited for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, this service extends referrals for training, set-up, consistent support, and equipment provision.
Accesshub is an endeavor by the government to offer a comprehensive resource detailing the myriad of communication choices accessible to those who are deaf, have difficulty hearing, and/or are speech-impaired. Within Accesshub, The National Relay Service paves the way for those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech impediment to facilitate and accept phone calls.
