1300 numbers allow callers across Australia to reach your business for the cost of a local call, while 1800 numbers are completely toll-free for landline callers. In both cases, the account holder handles the inbound call forwarding cost.
Are there any setup or porting-in fees for 1300/1800 numbers?
Crazytel charges a one-off $50 setup fee per 1300 or 1800 number. Port-in is completely FREE - you save $55.00 in porting fees per number.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No. Crazytel provides all services with no lock-in contracts, giving you the flexibility to manage your business phone services as you see fit.
Can I forward calls from a 1300 or 1800 number to a mobile phone?
Yes, you can forward calls from your 1300 or 1800 business numbers to fixed lines, mobile services, SIP trunks, or CrazyPBX. Forwarding to mobiles is billed at a low flat rate of just 8¢/min on the 1300 plan and 10¢/min on the 1800 plan.
Who owns the 1300/1800 number once purchased?
You do! The number always belongs to you. If you choose to leave Crazytel, you can port the number out to any other provider. Please note there is a port-out fee of $55 if done within the first three months; after three months, porting out is completely free!
What happens if my primary PBX or SIP trunk system goes down?
Our system has built-in Fail Over Protection. If your primary system goes offline, your inbound calls are automatically routed to a backup mobile phone or secondary system instantly.
Can I route 1300 and 1800 calls by the caller's state or local region - including mobile callers?
Yes! With Crazytel Smart Routes ($2.00/month per route), your 13, 1300 and 1800 numbers use carrier MOLI (MOLi - Mobile Originating Location Information) data to detect the caller's state and local collection area on every call - including mobile (04), private/withheld and VoIP callers - and route them to their nearest branch or state team automatically.
**$55.00 Port out fee if 1300/1800 number is ported before three months from purchase. No-Port out fee after three months. Minimum charge $7.95 for one month. Plan fees are non-refundable and not pro-rated.
