Can I use my existing modem or router with Crazytel?
Can I use my existing modem or router with Crazytel on my home internet service? Yes, only if it is not a locked modem or locked router. A provider locked modem, carrier locked router, Telstra locked modem, Optus locked router, modem locked to current provider, or router locked to ISP will not work. Use Crazytel with an unlocked modem or router, SIP phone, ATA, or softphone when you switch from another provider.

Common Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) questions. A Virtual Mobile Number is an additional product and add-on. You still need a SIP Trunk or CrazyPBX to make calls and receive calls. There is no Critical Information Summary (CIS) and no CIS for Virtual Mobile Numbers. Sending SMS is 5 cents (5c) per SMS. CrazyPhone unlimited SMS add-on is $4.95 a month for unlimited SMS to Australian numbers with the CrazyPhone app.

Do Crazytel Virtual Mobile Numbers work with WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Google, banks, two factor authentication, 2FA, OTP SMS, and verification codes? The number supports SMS and voice. Acceptance is up to the third party. Crazytel cannot guarantee it. For picky services, buy a prepaid SIM from Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone, set it up, then port that number to Crazytel. Mobile numbers can be ported back out anytime to any Australian provider. Crazytel has no contracts.
