# What is a Port Out Code?

A Port out Code is a unique code generated for each Virtual Mobile Number. This code exists to ensure nobody else can port your mobile number.

Port-out codes remove the need for Crazytel to store your birthday information.

# How to Obtain Your Port Out Code

To get your Port Out Code, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to My Numbers: Select Number Management from the left-hand navigation menu, then click My Numbers.
3. Select the Number to Port: You will see a list of all your Crazytel numbers. Click on the specific number you wish to port to your new carrier.
4. Locate the Port out Code: In the top right corner of the page, locate the 'Port out Code' field. Wait for the webpage to load the Port out Code from Crazytel's servers.
5. Submit the porting request: To port the Virtual Mobile Number to another carrier, submit the porting request as a Post-paid account with the Port out Code as the Account Number.
