Accessing the Crazytel softphone

A softphone lets you make and receive VoIP calls directly from a computer or mobile device. Crazytel's Crazyphone applications are the recommended softphone options for supported CrazyPBX and SIP Trunk services.

Set up Crazyphone

Important: Never share your SIP password or setup link. Reset the password if the credentials may have been exposed.

1. Install the Crazyphone application on your computer or mobile device.
2. Sign in using the setup link or QR code supplied for your CrazyPBX Extension or SIP Trunk.
3. Allow microphone and notification permissions when prompted.
4. Test an inbound and outbound call.

For CrazyPBX Extensions, use Generate QR Code for Extension in the portal. For SIP Trunks, use the QR Code or registration details generated for the trunk.

Crazytel supports most 3rd party BYO softphone applications. Specific configurations may vary, but the following have been tried and tested:
