How to upgrade an FTTN or FTTC NBN® connection to full fibre (FTTP): who can get it, the steps, the technician visit and the 12 month keep rule.

Some FTTN and FTTC addresses can have their copper line replaced by fibre all the way into the home. Full fibre is faster and more reliable.

Where to go

My Services › Manage › Full fibre upgrade

Can I get it?

If your address can, you will see Full fibre upgrade available on the connection, a See the fibre upgrade link in My Services, and an Upgrade to full fibre group on the Upgrade options tab. You can also check any address on Check Address. From FTTN, the upgrade needs a plan of 100 Mbps download or faster; the dialog only shows plans that qualify.

Order it

  1. Read how it works. The dialog starts with How the upgrade works.
  2. Choose your fibre plan.
  3. Add a contact. Who the technician should contact.
  4. Order. Check the details and press Order fibre upgrade.
