How to pause (suspend) and resume NBN® internet, disconnect now or on a later date, cancel a scheduled disconnection and permanently remove a connection.

Pause your internet while you are away, turn it back on, or end it. All of these are in the connection's Manage menu.

Where to go

My Services › Manage › Manage menu

Your options

Suspend
Pauses the connection. Your internet turns off once the NBN® network confirms it and stays off until you resume. Billing continues and your plan stays the same.
Resume
Turns your internet back on once the NBN® network confirms it. Nothing to pay. Restart your modem if it does not reconnect by itself.
Disconnect
Ends the connection, Now or On a later date. The dialog shows What you get back.
Remove permanently
Only for a disconnected connection. Closes its record for good. No charge, and the dialog lists what stays with you.

Suspended by itself?

If the connection says Suspended: your prepaid account is in debit, top up your balance and it switches back on.
